Student Council

In October 2016 our School Council visited the Ceremonial Mayor of Salford!

The student council represents the interests of our pupils. Elected members of our Council work with their peers to help our school run as smoothly as possible.  Regular Council meetings are held and representatives from the Council meet with the Headteacher to discuss ideas, thoughts and concerns.  Our Council is organised by Mrs Maureen Rogers, our Pupil & Family Development Officer.

Elections were held w/c October 6th 2016

Meetings are held every half term.

Before each meeting our school councillors meet with their class to discuss possible agenda items.  Our School Council meetings are focused on the 5 ECM Outcomes and each of these is dealt with separately in every meeting.

Our student council has its own action plan and notice board.  They are in charge of choosing a charity to fund-raise for each term.
