Year 1 & EYFS Data for 2016

YEAR 1 PHONICS SCREENING CHECK

75% of pupils successfully passed this check.

This figure has dropped from 81% the previous year.  This is also 6% lower than the National Average.  This is very disappointing for the school as the previous three years have seen an upward trend.

Reasons for this drop have been identified and an Action Plan has been put in place to address these issues,

EYFS

Percentage of pupils leaving EYFS with a Good Level of Development (GLD)

In 2016 was 68%

This figure has dropped from 73% in 2015.  This is very disappointing for the school as the previous three years have seen an upward trend.

Reasons for this drop have been identified and an Action Plan has been put in place to address these issues.
