I am currently studying for a degree in health sciences but have over 30 years experience in the IT industry as both a programmer and systems analyst. Having been a parent governor for over 10 years and acting as the chairperson for a preschool for 13 years, I have gained a wealth of knowledge about the education system and the most effective ways of supporting Lower Kersal primary school.  Supporting the school to maintain high standards of education and ensure the well being of the children and staff is very important to me. All four of my children have attended the school and thoroughly enjoyed their time spent there.

I have been a teacher at Lower Kersal Primary School for 5 years now. I currently teach Year 2 and am the leader of Geography and History at the school. I have enjoyed my last 5 years of being a teacher here and I am dedicated in supporting the school to maintain high standards of education and continually improve.

I have over 10 years experience as a pre-school owner and currently hold a foundation degree in Early Years Childhood Studies.  I also have 15 years experience working in an office environment.  I am extremely motivated to ensure that Lower Kersal Primary School continues to raise the already high standards, that my children had the please of from 2005 to 2016.

Born and bred in Salford, I've mainly worked in the construction industry over the years.  I have two elder children and a daughter at LKPS at the moment.  I'd like to help maintain the high standards we all want for our chilren in school.
